Ladies B Team - Congratulations - UPDATED

UPDATE (2nd Sept):

Further congratulations to the Ladies B Team, who have now reached the Final of the West Cheshire Shield. 

It was a close fought match with the decider hinging on the last two games to come in. All very tense! Well done to Jeanette and Margo for holding their nerve, resulting in a deserved win for Wallasey.

Many thanks to Lady Captain and all the wonderful supporters who got us through the day.

Now onward and upward to the final against Royal Liverpool at 10.30am on 8th September at Heswall.  Your support will be welcome.

Congratulations to the Wallasey Ladies B Team, who have qualified for the West Cheshire Shield Semi Finals to be held at Eaton Golf Club on Monday 23rd August.

Wallasey Ladies will be playing Delamere GC, with the first match teeing off at 11.00am and spectators are welcome.  So if you are free, please come along and support the ladies!

Jill Hopwood (Ladies B Team Captain) said "I would like to thank all the ladies who have played in the team this year, and whose outstanding performances have got us to these semi finals. Many thanks also to the other Wallasey ladies who have supported us with their good wishes, both before and after each match, it has been very much appreciated."
